I have had many high priority work units, but the finish date for my work unit in these cases may be up to 10 days before the regular finish dates if there was a error forcing the re-assignment of the unit.
If there is an error can the scheduler be reprogrammed to assign the unit the original completion date instead of a 48 hour deadline. I have one that might fail because the original completion date is 28/10/08 and my completion date is 18/10/08. I have suspended everything in the hope the dual core CPU might finish the unit in the time frame given to me as the computer was turned off for some time but think this scenario needs to be addressed. Hi Colin,
----------------------------------------That's an outstanding request which currently cannot be met due to database performance issues. Hopefully it will come when the DB/Harware upgrade is complete. Think that is somewhere early 2009 now, pushed back from this month original plan. cheers
