Re: 0 New Tasks

Hello bllmtt,
The default BOINC weight for each project, such as WCG, is 100. Click on My Grid - Device Manager and then click on your Selected Profile (Home, Work or School). Scroll down to the bottom and look at Cross Project Settings. You probably have the default Project Weight of 100.0. If you have done the same on your other (non-WCG) profiles, then you are set up to spend equal time on each project.

Build up a list of all BOINC projects you are signed up for (WCG counts as only one. In BOINC terms, we have multiple sub-projects) and record the weight assigned to each. The percent of computer time spent on a BOINC project should be given by the formula (Project Weight / Sum of all project Weights).

Lawrence

Added: If things look peculiar, you can suspend all your non-WCG projects, then reboot and send us the listing from your Messages Tab, so we can see what trouble you are having with WCG.
