Re: smilesmile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 30 smilesmile

Hey all, sorry my points have been down recently. I've been getting sloppy about pausing PS3grid while I play counterstrike and forgetting to resume it. I'm now back down to my quad only levels! But on the good news side of things, I just installed this Scythe 140 CFM 120mm fan in the front of my quad. It sounds like a hurricane and is somehow even louder than my three desk fans and ceiling fan combined. But that said, it did drop my overall case temps by 5C and dropped my CPU 2C under load (well, it's always under load after all since I have WCG at 100% power 24/7).

Also, DO NOT BUY THE CM 690 CASE! The front panel is ludicrously hard to remove. You have to tear at the thing like you want to break it, and then it all of a sudden gives way and pops open, throwing you off balance. I'm a big guy and I was pulling HARD on this thing. Build quality is amusingly atrocious.

On second thought, the sound is best described as a hurricane carrying hundreds of plugged in, turned on shop vacs.

It is starting to look like Autumn here. The picture below is off my balcony. Tomorrow, one of my sons is driving me up into Wisconsin to enjoy the fall color up there where it should be at its peak. It should be a fun trip.

What a pretty view!

It really is, thanks. I love this town. Although it is a suburb of Chicago, it still has it's own identity and I get to see it all from a fifth floor apartment.

Nice pic. I wish we had colors here. All our leaves go from green to yellow to dead. I have rwo small maples that try to do their part.

Been feeling a bit under the weather the last few of days. Trying to make a comeback. wink

Good evening MOT. coffee

Hey, DM. Noticed you had been quiet the past couple days. Hope your comeback is quick.

Know what you mean by green/yellow/dead. If you look, most of the color you see in the pic is yellow, although we do have a bit of red. I am hoping to see a lot of color tomorrow up in Wisconsin.
