New research!

Just curious if any new projects are planned? I know Rice is not that old but it feels like the others have been going for some time! Just wondering!

Re: New research!

One new project is expected to be launched sometime during the fourth quarter of this year. As for all completely new projects no details will be disclosed (either on contents or on the release date) before the project is actually starting the distribution of WUs to clients.

Two phase 2 of past projects are planned. Dengue was expected to be the first one possibly end of this year but the lab and its scientists have been impacted or at least disturbed by Ike, so this is unsure right now. HCMD2 is expected since many months and we hope to see it come to life beginning of 2009. We'll see...

Other new projects and phase 2 are already planned for later during year 2009 and the staff is constantly working to fill the pipe for the following years.

Not forgetting that current active projects have still plenty (several years) of work to be done.

And a good indication that something new is close to be released is when you see "anonymous" beta WUs being distributed. So keep watching... smile

Cheers. Jean.

You're teasing us, but we deserve it. Gotta get today's WU done before we start looking forward.

Re: New research!

astrolab, it was just a tip, not a teaser. smile
I do not know more than you if those "anonymous" betas will show up next week, next month or next year. They are only something to notice if you really want to be ready to jump on a new project.

Cheers. Jean.
