Hi!
----------------------------------------I've found a small issue while adding new messages. If user posts a message to the thread with more that one page, then after posting he's automaticly forwarded to his message, but in the list of page number values active page is set to page 1. See my screenshot here http://savepic.ru/268419.png . As you can see the total number of posts is 23, and my post is the last of them, so it's on page 2. But activated page (underlined) is number 1. [Added] I'm using Opera 9.52 browser. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Dmitrio at Sep 26, 2008 1:05:35 PM] |

Warning: Kidding ON
----------------------------------------If after posting you are forwarded to your message you are very lucky and you should not complain. In my case I am forwarded to the top of the last page, which is much different when your Kidding OFF Seriously now. I presume the forum software uses its own lastpage=yes for redirecting you after posting, and every regular poster knows that this feature is broken as far as page numbers at the bottom are concerned. From the list of recent threads if you click on the far right icon to go to the last page of a very busy thread you will see the same mistake, which is annoying when you want to see posts before the last post alone on this last page as soon as a thread needs more than two pages. This will last until the techs Sorry about it. Jean. Edit: And another known bug: if later you edit that same last post you are not redirected to it or to the page where it is but to the first page of the thread. Too bad... ![]() ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by JmBoullier at Sep 26, 2008 1:44:42 PM] |

Hi!
----------------------------------------Ok, thanks for the explanation. And another thing. When I open my stats from the advanced view of BOINC, I do get a login message -I didn't checked in Remember me, I know :). The thing is that after typing login and password correctly I often get an error with URL http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/i_security_check. The thing that helps is to press Back, then Refresh the login page, and only after that everything is OK. When going from the starting page to login to WCG site - nothing similar happens. Is it a known issue too? Dmitrio ![]() |

Dmitrio, you should not have placed your last post in this thread: it has nothing to do with the forum and its software and it has the best chances to be ignored or forgotten. Particularly since it is not easy to reproduce for people who are logged in most of the day and who have to avoid stats updates to do it.
---------------------------------------- Regarding the subject of this thread please see an edit I have made to my previous answer about another redirection bug of this forum when the thread is spread over several pages. Cheers. Jean. |
