Hello ALL.
I just installed Boinc Agent in my computer with VISTA Home Edition. I choose the option to install in all users on my computer. Only I and My wife are administrators, about my kids I use UAC to control the access and software instalation. But when they logged in the vista, there is a warning about Boinc Agent. The Vista doesn't allow run the agent. After, I realized that even when I log in the system the boinc agent are not executed. I must run it mannualy. Anybody could help me? Ricardo Brandao |

Hello ricbrandao,
Here are the Vista installation instructions. http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=12856 The most important is to install to a user-defined directory such as C:/BOINC. Lawrence |

Ricardo, you might also consider installing Boinc in service/protected mode (see item 14 of the thread indicated by Lawrence). This way the Boinc client would start and run continuously from booting to shutdown, whether a user is logged on or not.
