Most common reports of so called, Unidentified Flying Objects(UFO's) have typically implicated the shape of two pie pans with the rims put together(convex shaped). UFO television research shows on the classical shape of UFO's have failed to provide any useful, conclusive scientific reasoning. Here for the first time I will reveal my opinion on the 'function of the UFO saucer shape.'

If you look at the saucer shape from a side angle it can look a bit like an airfoil or airplane wing cross section. I believe the function of the saucer shape has several advantages/criteria that were carefully selected. Yes, it can function in a decent successful way as an air foil in our atmosphere providing it has sufficient computer control and a main gyroscopic effect. However, the primary reason for selecting such a shape would not be for atmospheric travel, but spacetime travel as they have traveled 47 light years from their planet to ours.

Space is really be filled with an ether of zero balanced energy fluctuations we normally do not seem to notice conciously, yet it is everywhere. Matter would be absorbing this energy and it flows into matter like a very smooth stream of water going down a drain. We tend to call this phenomenon, gravity(g). This explains why a galaxy with a black hole at the center forms a spiral shape much like water going down a drain. Spacetime is trying to flow into the black hole and a spiral shape is the natural result of it's rotation. Sufficient angular centripetal force can overcome out the inward flow of spacetime.

So here is the secret of the air foil like shape of classical UFO's. Spacetime tends to flow around these objects at very high speeds near that of light for a yet unknown reason. If spacetime flows around the space craft faster, then it can achieve virutally faster than speed of light. No laws of physics have been violated concerning the speed of light, it has only virutally been violated by outside observers. Also, the space vehicle frame would be kept small as the massive amount of spacetime pressure created during these hyper velocities. The shape inherently holds up remarkably well to the pressures of spacetime travel. They tend to like using arch shapes for the inside of the frame where possible for strong structure support. Honeycome shape is another possible favorite combination. So in term of the convex space shape shape think of it like submersing a 'sphere' into the deepest parts of the ocean, it would be best suited as pressures would be equal on all sides. That was already tested done and proven correct. We need to think in new technical terms if we are to catch up with civilizations orbiting stars much older than our own.
