Hello,
----------------------------------------I have installed the last BOINC stable version 6.2.18 last week. It works without problem, but if I move the BOINC folder to an other partition, the BOINC manager doesn't find the WU an get other once. What have I to do if i want to move the BOINC's folder with all the current WU ? Thanks for you help.  |

Hello Wilgard,
I don't know. We are not supporting BOINC 6.2.18 yet. The WCG installer is for BOINC 5.10.45. You need to ask for help on the BOINC forum where you got your version of BOINC. Lawrence |

----------------------------------------1. Move the folder back to where it was before 2. Uninstall 6.2.18 3. Reinstall 6.2.18 to the location you wish it to be. Opposed to 5.10.45 where everything related to BOINC is in single logical structure, under 6.2 the data is split off for security reasons. With that, permissions are created. If you move things, the system wont be able to find (part of) the connections any longer. For sure under 6.2 BOINC has become much less portable.... the price of enhanced security and sand-boxing of the crunch environment.
