A new version of BOINC that uses Nvidia cards?

At another distributed computing site, I saw that they have a program in beta test to run on Nvidia cards using BOINC.

http://www.gpugrid.net/

They mention that certain users should upgrade to BOINC 6.3.8 and some should upgrade to BOINC 6.3.10, which I have never seen mentioned on the WCG site, so are they beta test versions you haven't found any reason to tell us about, or have they modified the BOINC program and given it new version numbers?

Re: A new version of BOINC that uses Nvidia cards?

Hello robertmiles,
BOINC 6 reserves the GPU if BOINC requests it. This is all very new and experimental. Barcelona is running distributed science programs on PS3grid and gpugrid. REad about it on their site.
