I Buy Power is a great company, but parts of your pc might not be "totally assembled." Keep me posted and I'll help you fill in their gaps if there are any.

Apparently "One pill makes you larger" was a true statement. Perhaps she should have taken the one that makes you small. Feed your head!Grace Slick 2008 *** @Tex: How did you try to uninstall it (I won't ask why ) and what happened when you tried to reinstall it? From what did you reinstall it (disk, website ??)*** I'm waiting for UPS. ![]() ![]() Tried to install from the java website. There's a part where I have to click on a box for applet control (or something like that) for internet explorer. It says I might not have access since i'm not an administrator? Something like that. Not sure how to fix that, i'm on my own computer after all.. Mike.. ![]() ![]() |

If so, you are not signed on as a user under an admin ID. If you are, you would have to log on as admin. Assuming you have admin privileges, go to the control panel and see if there is a Java icon there (should between internet options and keyboard). If so you have not successfully uninstalled Java. Uninstall it from add/remove programs in the control panel and reinstall it from the Java website. If it was successfully uninstalled, try to install it again from the website and document the exact error message(s) and post them here. Thanks! ![]() |

Under Java Control Panel, there is a portion under the "Advanced" Tab that says Default Java for browsers. Before when I tried to check the box marked Microsoft Internet Explorer, it wouldn't let me. I just checked and the box is marked, but when I go to the website where I have problems, it says it's not working. They even have a Java test button to click, and it says it works.

That's strange. Other than the host site may have a problem ... I have not a clue since the test works. Any other ideas from the MOTley crew??? ![]() |
