The highlighted number is wrong. The correct one is 0.00638, which makes things even more remarkably constant as far as claimed credits are concerned. Cheers. Jean. Jean, Thanks for spotting that.. I know.. if my fingers were wearing their contact lenses when they were typing.. they might have seen that minor error... I agree with you completely on the consistency of the "claimed" values... so assuming someone has a machine that does nothing but crunch WCG... it would be possible to come up with something that looks like: (credits / sec) * (total secs in a day - 30 secs) * # cores and you should be able to approximate your total credits per day.... so let's see if it works.. 0.00637 * ( (3600 * 24) - 30 ) = 550.1769 credits / day / core Or on a quad.. it translates to 2200.7076 credits / day.. in theory! and according to what I see. my RAC is about 2100 or so... so it's close, likely because the it uses the granted values and not the claimed values.. I find it interesting the granted credits per second are just all over the map in consistency... which translates to there's not much chance in speculating what your daily contribution is likely to be based on the above rule. ... It's interesting to see such a wide discrepancy between the credits per second claimes when compared with credit per second granted. When you average the credits per second granted 0.00648 from the limited sample above it really becomes interesting how such a wide variation exists. |

I've noticed this on quite a few blocks before but now curiosity has gotten the better of me. :) ![]() |
