----------------------------------------Here's one which I dont know if related to me using the 6.2.14 early BOINC release or if it is HPF2 graphics, but taking the screensaver into preview with password active, shows the HPF2 graphics properly, with few seconds delay as normal and bouncing around. Trying to come out completely hangs up the system (Vista Quad), that is to say, does not allow the regain control through mouse or keyboard. Without password, the screensaver comes out properly. (now i need to check if i can see from remote if crunching continues even when the system stops all manual input at the screen. Also see if this is reproducible with FAAH & DDDT). Okay, so locally, FAAH & RICE work fine with and without password. Additional to the HPF2 hang: Several times the screen froze with a set of expanding white bubbles and the second black window showing like it still does for FAAH 6.05. Without the password, the bubbles expanded, the 2nd black window appeared, but screen would return to normal desktop. It thus seems something in the HPF2 graphics.... too much resource needs or permissions? The GPU card has onboard 128MB according the GPU-Z program.

This version now in production caused a fail on Quad, Vista HP version after few minutes running:

No Software firewall. Vista patched all the way through September. The error was reported several times, lastly with 5.10.45 here: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=20694#169454 Screensaver works fine without and with password and no second blank window appears, with BOINC 6 (have no more 5.10 clients to test).
