This is a huge achievement made possible only by the generous contribution of computer time from our members. We sincerely appreciate your involvement in the science and research that is being performed at World Community Grid. Details about the 200,000,000 result are: Result Name: lw417_00021_19 Project: Human Proteome Folding - Phase 2 Cpu Time: 5.0 hours Points: 542 We are currently getting in contact with the individual who returned this result. Once we have talked to them and obtained their permission, then we will be able to provide information about the member and team captain who will receive the prize as outlined in this post: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=21453 We still have a few days left to go in the 200,000,000 Team Challenge. Once that challenge is complete we will award the prize in that competition. In addition to crossing the 200,000,000 results level, we also crossed the 180,000 years of run time returned. This means that each of those 200,000,000 results has averaged a run time of 7.9 hours. Thank you all for your outstanding contribution. What we see is all the teams marching around the field, entering in the order of current standing. Each holding a banner of their name lit by a flare. Symbolizing the hope we all share, in this grand gesture of common unity. All while the WCG Drum & Bugle Corp. stages a series of maneuvers and formations depicting the progress of WCG over the years. (With graphs and commentary by Sek) The past 24 hours have seen the highest cpu time ever reported to WCG using the BOINC grid (about 199 years of cpu time). Our trailing 21 day total for runtime is also at a record high. We also passed the next 10k CPU Years hurdle, now standing at 180,007 CPU years.. No idea what's on with courine or CourinesLegs but getting the impression that she has lost touch via that special wire to JimMcKay, so here an technical analysis:
----------------------------------------1. We broke through the 250,000 results barrier for the race.  2. There are still teams seeking higher positions like BOINCstats, MOT, wall and Drops in the Bucket 3. Yesterday we did double the number of results compared to the first day.  4. Gate crashers are still very welcome to pump up the volume  5. Tomorrow, the now Sure as Sure can be 200,000,000 result day an extra issue will be published with a position arrangement based on daily average. The late arrivals will be slapping their foreheads in the "what if" department. 6. We'll race though on through the 25th to set a new WCG world record of a Result Race Challenge. End of this SekStats analysis  oh and will there be any team going hog wild tomorrow

89,524 results to go. The WCG 200Mth Result will be returned in a matter of hours. The total shown in the Global Statistics is the number of valid WUs returned since the beginning of WCG. WUs pending validation are not counted in this total. Most probably the WCG 200Mth Result has already been returned several hours ago. What counts from a timing viewpoint is the time the WU has been returned (i.e. "reported"). Since the winner WU has to be valid it will not be officially considered as the winner until then, but the time which counts is actually the time you see in your Results Status page. Cheers. Jean. |

The graphs were updated yet again. Two new teams joined today. A couple of teams have stalled recently.

An updated result pie.... which project will have the magic 200,000,000th returned result?.... Nutritious RICE had a record yesterday and will be hitting the 4 millionth today too by the looks and over 20% complete.
