HI ~ I hope someone can give me an idea of what to do. I have emailed but have not gotten a reply yet. I have two "Discovering Drugs' applications Running ~ that's Ok. But, I have two applications ~ one ...Fighting Aids and the other Helping Conqure Cancer ~ that are both showing a Task Status of ... Waiting to Run. I don't know how they got into this status or what to do about them. Can anyone tell me? Thanks, Ann

Nothing to do, everything under control.
---------------------------------------- DDDT WUs are distributed with short deadlines these days (see several other threads announcing and or commenting this situation for details). When one client gets such a WU it will most probably start it immediately in High Priority mode, suspending one of the currently running WUs, which will resume automatically as soon as another task completes. The good news for people worried by this behavior is that there should be very few DDDT remaining for this type of expedited distribution. Cheers. Jean. |

Yeah, nothing to worry
---------------------------------------- it seem you only have 1 CPU, so it only working for 1 task and the rest is waiting to be processed. When the 1st task finished (Discovering Drugs) then the 2nd task will be run the the rest are waiting if you have 2 or more processor, then it will run 2 task at one time ![]() |

But, I DO have 2 CPU's No problem, I had assumed it implicitly from your opening post. Regarding your 90 % setting, unless it is in a notebook with cooling constraints you can probably jump to 100 % with no particular inconvenience and a better use of your processor fan. But this is entirely up to you anyway. Cheers. Jean. |

In BOINC?
----------------------------------------The field is a bit awkward. Remove the decimal and you can enter 100 Also whenever inclined to enter values with a comma, don't. Use points as in the past comma in localizations has caused storing of wrong values.
