I have been amember of WCG for over 2.5 years and a long time member of SETI before that,. This is the first time I have ever been unhappy on the service. I gues we all get to caught up with the "competition", I did get credit for my timeouts that had Claimed credit. Any way to get credit for these three?

We are also about to award credit for those results returned with the cpu time exceeded but reported 0 cpu time. We will be using the average of the other error results to compute this.
BOINC Credit: 550 Cpu Time: 230699 seconds (~64 hours) I will post the totals on this when finished. |

Credit has now been awarded to all results for FightAIDS@Home that were running the 'monster' workunits.
If the cpu_time reported was more than 10,000 seconds, then credit and runtime were awarded based upon what the computer claimed and reported. If the cpu time reported was less than 10,000 seconds, then credit and runtime were awarded based upon the averages of 550 BOINC Credits and a runtime of 230699 seconds (~64.1 hours). This second case was just run for the first time. We awarded the following: BOINC Credit: 239250 WCG Points: 1674750 Results: 435 Run Time: 100354065 seconds (3.2 years) Hosts: 348 Users: 284 |

Thanks for your efforts in getting gredit for all units that errored out due to CPU time exceeded. I saw my WCG totals jump up for yesterday due to the credits you awarded for the ones that had claimed credit, and I think my BOINC credit also jumped up. Will be waiting for the credit for the ones that reported 0 cpu time. I may even start accepting FAAH work again...

FYI: my counterparts long running faah5016 has just errorred out, and I noticed the full task being rescheduled with a deadline les then four days after sent time
https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/devi...us.do?workunitId=35241408 took me 40 hrs (624.5 claimed boinc still pending), so is doable. Is this short due time just asking for trouble or is it intentional? (am still learning) |

The deadline for a 'repair' job is 20% of the original deadline + a bit depending on the host being assigned. Thus 19 days for these special long jobs translated to 4 days. Backup[ jobs go to the faster returning clients. See Support FAQ link below in my signature and find the article on "Deadlines Returning Work Units aka Tasks" for expanded information.
