Had new firmware for the 11N system, but could not get it to load receiving a 'wrong filename' warning in Firefox. Little digging and someone already posted the helpful comment that FFx 3 had an issue and said to use IE. Well that worked. Lots more settings became available and some more tweaking caused the truly wireless LAN to perform better than better before.
----------------------------------------Here's a sample shot of a much more detailed Signal Recording and Diagnostic tool called DMT (free tool) helping to determine the last tweaks and get 99.3% out of the maximum available throughput. http://dmt.mhilfe.de/ Be sure to pick the right one to download. For me the 8.07 version worked. Made In Germany, standing for solid engineering, a few buttons in the English version still show the Teuton, but if you don't understand Aktivieren, you got more issues ![]() enjoy PS: When upgrading firmware, make sure you are hard-wired thru Ethernet cable and disconnect the ADSL line. Normally no computers are attached here, the modem in a rather awkward place in normal operation (high up in a closet).
