Everyrtime i try uninstalling an older BOINC client, it comes up with the message: "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" and then cuts out.
Please help!!! I was only trying to update to the newest client =( |

Probably this means that it can't find the original installer (perhaps you deleted it). The best thing to do is to grab a copy of the installer you used originally, and use that to uninstall BOINC before you install the new version.
We can help you find the right installer. If you got it from Berkeley, old versions are available here: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dl/ If you got it from somewhere else, just let us know and we can help you find it again. |
