What is in the work unit log? You will find it here, after the work unit has been reported: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/viewBoincResults.do
Click on the link saying "Error" to view the log. Copy it here for us. Thank you. |

If you look in the log (click on link in Work Unit Status column of the Result Status page on My Grid) and post content we can maybe work out more.... the critical question is: Did you do more work for this project and was it successful?

There have been a few DDDT WUs suffering from download problems (error code 224) these last days. I have got one on July 15 and one on July 16.
----------------------------------------If that is the case do not worry. They are automatically reported to the techs. Cheers. Jean. |

I have got the same problem on DDDT. I made a WU the 5th of July and reported it successfully. And i have waited 12 days and no one has been able to complete the same Work unit, 5 were errors and 2 weren't able to report it. So, the status says now "Too late" and i have wasted 11h of cpu time... I hope it won't occured twice.

Hello Winckle,
That sounds like a problem with a work unit. It may be a work unit that has discovered a bug or other limitation in the application program. That does occur occasionally in practically every project. The staff and project scientists keep track of work units that error out on all computers and examine them off the grid. So there is no need to worry about it as long as your other work units complete successfully. Lawrence |
