Re: DANGER New MS Updates

New versions are available for all flavors of ZoneAlarm. See this page Workaround to Sudden Loss of Internet Access Problem for getting them.

I have updated ZA free in the Pentium 4 and ZAAV in the quad, and then finally installed the MS patch in both machines. Everything runs fine.

Translation my side: Everyone does it maybe smarter than ZA does, or?

Translation on mine: MS has tried to push an annoying competitor off the road for a while by keeping them out of the informed circle. But they have only helped them to show that they are much more reactive and efficient than they used to be in the past.

Cheers. Jean.

PS: And a big "thank you" to Scribe for alerting us. Since I always install Windows updates in controlled mode after a few days waiting in my machines I was able to not install the naughty patch until it becomes innocuous.
