Bummer, I have been off the forums here for a few months. if I would have known the points would not transfer I would have joined a few months back. for almost 2 weeks I had 31 2.8ghz machines running :) I did more than a year of processing in that time. now I only have 6-10 systems going, but I am sure it will help some. Dan I envy you!!!!!!!  |

Guys, a heads'up. MOT: Results Returned (Rank) 28,551 (#5) Honestly, in my opinion, the points are useless. It's the results that should count. Results help scientists, results give tangible products. Points don't. (Yeah, I know I'm biased, being the only talking result-oriented cruncher in our list, but still.) In terms of how good we are, compared to all other teams, we are eight. In terms of how much we helped science, of all teams in this project, we are fifth. Think about it. . Hi Orca, Nope, you're not the only one  merely the first one to say it out loud in so many words!  It's kind of an extension of what I said a few days ago about not being focussed on "AllTime Points Generated" alone. Needless to say I agree with you wholeheartedly  |
