I want to be first just one time, so here goes: ..Current point totals: .....7. America (USA) 6,691,357 .....8. MyOnlineTeam 6,600,806 ..........Difference: 90,551 ..Yesterday's points generated: .....MyOnlineTeam 147,893 .....America (USA) 61,050 ..........Difference: 86,843 With a little help from our newest members, My Online Team should be #7 in point totals on the next update at 00.00 GMT, March 12, 2005!  Hi Dave, Sorry to break this to you, but... You're NOT the first one, alas: I've made a prediction several hours earlier And at first, when I saw the above, I thought "He's too optimistic!", but not anymore!! Webnx.com seems to have a bit more than just an old crate working for us... (somewhere close to a million points in the past three months, even though they're not transferred to MOT, they tell me he makes about 10,000 points a day  ) So, that's the "maybe" from my prediction, and it confirms yours, Dave!Over a week ago it was Graham's estimation that we would reach this point on March 18. I have a premonition that we'll be seventh as soon as I overtake dtype... which, unless he pulls in a monster unit, is in all likelihood tomorrow. (Muahaha.)
You know, I keep telling Graham to use more "exponential" calculations in his spreadsheets.  |

No prediction can ever guarantee accuracy. Some people (like me) just like to poke fun for a change. That's no criticism, just a joke! And remember: though it may look and sound to you as if I master the English language quite well, it still IS a foreign language to me. So some of my jokes may sound somewhat harsher than intended, whereas others may seem bland to you. Please, don't feel insulted on my account. I'd rather stop poking fun than having anyone's feelings hurt. |
