I get the same error when trying to access the thread as well. I suspect that the thread may have been deleted when the information was consolidated into the "Known Issues" forum at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=1984. I will check into this with the WCG technicians and get back to you. |

I was correct -- the WCG technicians indicate that the information in the thread you were unable to find had gone out of date and it was replaced by the thread I referenced. Regards, |

Thanks Dave, now I know where to look first before posting stupid questions.
Cheers, Ivang |

Maybe to avoid confusion, instead of deleting a thread they could edit it to include a pointer to the replacement info and then lock the thread, that way any one who followed a reference to that thread would get the link to the info, instead of an ambiguous error message

Thanks -- that is a very good idea and I have passed it on to the WCG staff. |

The Technical Staff at WCG has agreed with your suggestion and will do it that way in the future. Thanks again for the suggestion. |
