Error: Output ***** file absent

How do I prevent that error from happening other than not running the DDDT project?

Can you post the BOINC message log, say some 20 lines including that message and also the result log (found on result status page and following the error link in the status column).

I don't understand what you are asking for. I understand hardware fairly well, but I'm by no means a software person.

"Output file xxxxx for task xxxxxx absent" is the error message.

Re: Error: Output ***** file absent

Hi David_L6,
on the WCG site go to the 'results status' page (My Grid -> Results Status). Find the job that failed and click on the 'status' text. This should open a window with the extra info you need.

Cheers,
Sean

Re: Error: Output ***** file absent

hmmmm - exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005) is very familiar in that you need to run a string of diagnostics and get a software doctor on-site if that is not your forte. Here an FAQ:

As for posting logs, feel free to snip anything endlessly repeating.

cheers
