Thread: Boinc 0.45 and WCG won't give credit or new work |

When i attatch to this project i got a new task, when work it's finished BOINC .45 tell me there's no project attached, and if i go to My Grid > Result Status and click in the Status column on a 'Error' click give no error, even if task was completed.
Any help? Recently i subscribed to BAM manager too |

Well, very possibly, and this is from own experience, BAM is detaching the project since you have attached the client to BAM, but probably over there did not add WCG to the profile.... and BAM is wreckless. It will detach ruthlessly without you giving permission.

Hello Foresta,
The first thing is to Attach to WCG. Bring up BOINC Manager and (using the Advanced view) select the Projects tab. If it shows you attached to WCG, select WCG then Detach. Then select Tools and Attach to Project. Do not use BAM, since WCG has not completely implemented support for BAM, so we can try to avoid surprises by not using it. What happens when you Attach to WCG? What does Messages tab show? Lawrence |

from my 1st replay...."but probably over there did not add WCG to the profile". Do that, and BAM will not detach unexpectedly. Never have had the issue since.
