When I search teams by description, which contains polish word ekologia, what means ecology my team Poland will be not found, but typing any other word of team Poland description and even such substrings of word ekologia like "ekologi" and "kologia" leads to displaying Poland in search results.
Only when Poland is additionally selected as country search results are correctly. Could somebody check, if she/he receives the same search results? What is the reason of this very strange searching? |

Is your computer configured for special characters sets what web browser version? The description certainly was written using one. |

My search for 'ekologia' also finds team 'Poland'. Like lavaflow, I suspect that the character sets are the reason that arturg's web browser does not search successfully.

Thank you everybody for your help.
Now I've got properly searching results too :) . Something must have changed but I don't know exactly what. It was independent of browser (the same error in Firefox 2.0 and IE 7.0 ), keyboard charset (I've tried with Polish and German) and same searches on other projects were ok. Maybe something has changed after I've finally started English keybord charset and something with cftmon.exe was added to the register, although after removing them, search results stayed properly. OK, it's more important that other haven't got this problem and they can eventually find the team. |
