I just found I have a wu for this project running on one of my machines. I have never attached to it, indeed, had never heard of it until a few minutes ago.
----------------------------------------It would seem that the preferences I entered have been changed in that African Climate is no longer checked but this new one is. Is this typical of WCG? ----------------------------------------yes it's so far the WCG policy with AC@H as exeption due large hardware requirements and quite a few went before you in several threads just started before yours to agree or object. On the last project i did a poll and 20% said no of the 81 voters. Not sure why there was no email to notify all members of the new project and pointing out how to opt out. We'll kick it up again. cheers (african climate is done.... only a few repair jobs are left)

I was attached to AC@H because my machines can take it. That choice was removed and Rice checked instead. A situation I have reversed.
It seems a bit arrogant to give crunchers a choice and then flatly ignore their wishes. I don't recall any other project where I have had so much grief in such a short space of time. |

It's apart of their opt in policy. They feel they have the right to make you crunch whatever they see fit till you catch them.
