hello anyone ?
i cant seem to find an option to run BOINC at startup ? i said no when i first ran it but would like to change that. |

Assuming you are on Windows, I'm sure you know how to create a application shortcut to the BOINCmgr.exe and drag that to your StartUp folder on the Windows All Programs menu. Next time you boot andsign in, BOINC will start automatically.
----------------------------------------Alternate, re-install as service and it will start up even when you don't sign in. If you do that yoiu can start and exit BOINCmgr without interrupting the service running in the background.

----------------------------------------i am running winV. drag n drop ! actually didnt work. but i found i could right click "startup" and copy/paste the WCG desktop shortcut into it there. Life is Good ! [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at May 15, 2008 10:04:37 PM] |
