I have searched for similar problems but the search results of the search tool are far away from what I type in the text box, so don't tell me I can't post this 'cause is an old thread.
----------------------------------------Looks like that the device profiles I can't update are in use by some clients at the moment, anyway this should be possible since the web site is a configuration page regardless of the clients using the profiles connected to it. I don't get any errors, just I can't modify the device profile: I click 'SAVE', then it says was updated OK, but when I go in the device profile again is in the previous state.
I have 4 profiles: -Default -Enfermedades -FAAH -HPF2 the first 2 can't be modified, but the 2 last ones can. |

So please can u fix this? Regards. Multiple words including quotes like "Device Profile" provides much more narrowed down results. Thus if you have a search message like "Can't Update Device Profile" and put that into the search box you get this result: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...0&submitbutton=Search click on the above link and be astound how precise the search works. cheers

The top group of profiles only works for BOINC and the Bottom group where you can assign your own profile names is only for UD agent. What exactly are you trying to change? Project selections? Only FAAH & HPF2 run on UD. If you try, and i just tried it too, to select any other project for UD agent profiles it will not save. Migrate to BOINC and you get access to all 5 general projects. The AfricanClimate project is virtually finished.

Problem solve: I was fonfusing the 2 sets of profiles(UD & BOINC).
BTW I've completely migrated to BOINC, so I'm going to delete all UD profiles since they wont be used anymore and BOINC works A LOT better than UD. |
