Re: unknown server message.. maximum disc space preference

I've not put much value on that pie but for it being an indication. My datadir is on a partition of 55gb, yet it says that 174gb is free and 116gb it used by other. The physical disk is 120gb and file explorer says the2 partitions have 20gb free. The math does not add up.

You could reorganize BOINC and move all it's components to it's own directory and relocate directories like project, local, slots, sym & skins into that. OR, you can just let what ain't broken and wait for BOINC 6 which restructure it for you.

You seem to have changed the local preferences on your computer (overriding the general preferences on the website).

Since I am using 126 MB file storage on my computer, I would still want to check up on my E directory if I were you. Could this be a BOINC error that considers everything in the target directory to be BOINC-related? That would not normally be noticed since BOINC installation normally creates a dedicated directory.

Right. I spent a long time searching for info about BOINC data directory while people were posting.
