Is it true that DDDT will be switching to only one copy of each WU and if so do we know when?

It seems very strange that points are not factored in at all. Does WCG have a fixed and immutable policy about this? I realise that this is the kind of discussion that can easily get diverted and swamp a a project related thread with unrelated posts, so I'm happy to take the discussion to the suggestions/feedback area - unless you know that this is a dead end and WCG really won't consider a change. Apologies in advance if this bone has already been chewed in other discussion threads, buried, dug up again, cooked in stew, buried again etc... Thanks and regards, Sean [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jun 6, 2008 4:41:59 AM] |

I must say that I tend to agree...they are not Master CRUNCHERS....they are Master POSTERS etc.
It would be a much better reflection of contribution if it were related to the actual crunching, not posting! |

You being an old griddy, what was it there? And is it anywhere depending on points given a ranking scheme on DC fora? It's nothing to do with how much time/points a member generates and not likely ever will on any crunching site. The badges are to express the computing contribution and are possibly developed on to show things like bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond. One computes with a PIII and another started 5 years later with a quad for half the price to overtake in say 4 weeks? Nay, cant see that as a measure for show off on the on these pages. You're at lib to put the e.g. the mousie sig in yours to display how big the chest is. end of off topic. ~~~~ Back to the Redundancy title. No word as yet when this will be kicked off. DDDT can use the speed up. Present word is that a goal of sometime 2010, the ZR taking into the equation. Else, 2012?
