5/4/2008 5:00:11 AM|World Community Grid|Computation for task BETA_oryza_sativa_indica_9311_all_0000016071_20 finished
This task remained at 27 minutes cpu time for quite some time (several hours) at high priority without progress. I finally aborted. |

Hello loonym,
Did Task Manager show that your CPU was actually working on this application? Or did BOINC simply stop working on it? Lawrence |

Yes, it was active in task manager. The core assigned to that unit was idle while the other 3 cores were all working 100% on their respective tasks.

The core assigned to that unit was idle Thanks for telling us. That is not supposed to happen. How have you installed BOINC? (single-user, service, etc.) Also, could you define your system for us? (OS, CPU, security software) This is the sort of problem we try to uncover in Beta. Lawrence |
