Being rewarded for getting the job done?

I was just wondering what if (God forbid) someone who contributed quite a lot to WCG cancer projects (and they found some cure as a result of all this crunching) gets cancer later in life? Does that person deserve some kind of a free of charge treatment (after all, the person donated years of CPU time) or will he/she be ripped off just like some rich guy who can afford any type of treatment?
(this concerns all of relatet projects for wich the cure will be found and all the people who are contributing so much to this process)

Share your thaughts on this one!

Re: Being rewarded for getting the job done?

If there were 'benefits', it's the peace of mind and the knowledge that there might be a cure for you if ever hit by that truck. But, if you spread the word there is benefit to years of crunching, no one can stop you from that, no one will stop you from that and WCG will be a very busy place and all will thank you for that.

For any of us who have lost loved ones or have had cancer themselves, the benefits are obvious, never having to see another loved one, or anyone else for that matter, go through the terrible stages of this disease regardless of the cost.
