New Boinc Math

I thought I understood that when there is a task sent to two computers, the points awarded would be the average of the two or in certain occasions, be either the higher or lower point awarded based on the one that is closer to the statistical norm if the two claimed points are too far apart.

How does one explain this? It isn't any of what I described.

Re: New Boinc Math

No longer true.

The current credit algorithms are far too complicated for a simple explanation.

Just roll with it, and only let us know if you see a trend that you can't explain.
