Re: Message from server: No work sent

There are 2 strongly work fetch related values: <active_frac> and <duration_correction_factor>. Each project (WCG as a whole is a project) has its own DCF, but of the active_frac there is only 1. Only the DCF can be adjusted to 1.000000 by simply doing a project reset, unfortunately. The 0.0047 made the client think there was only 406 seconds in a day to crunch or 0.00%.

Anyway, thanks for telling us. It should be a value less that 1 like 0.995000 and the client must be stopped before doing the edit and all are urged not to meddle with this file as corrupting this one will cause to really upset BOINC.

Re: Message from server: No work sent

I had one task in reserve, now, after an upload the reserve item was 'cancelled by project'.

Having been provided, why cancel it?

Usually, because you didn't start it before the work unit was validated, and no extra copies were needed.

This happens sometimes with a large work buffer, and more rarely with a small buffer.
