will wcg assign work for solaris_x86 platform
When i attach wcg, it show platform 'i386-pc-solaris' not found and No work from project, i guess wcg won't assign work for solaris_x86 platform? since it is ok to attach seti@home and get work from it.

Is there someone can help to answer it? thanks.

I'm sorry, World Community Grid don't support Solaris.

Hi,

There are in fact very few projects supporting this platform through BOINC and from the BOINCstats list very few of these are active:

Getting enough clients is the stumbling block. At a point in time the AfricanCLimate project was taken off the MAC platform, simply because not enough work was being fetched or returned to be able to get a timely quorum for a work unit, causing the whole project to slow down.

Sure, there is not so many solaris_x86 users as windows or linux.

So i can understand why wcg worried here :-)
