Does the software support more then 1 processer?

I ran this software from United Devices for the cancer project. I have a duel processer machine and will be added 2 more newer p4's with mutlithread. Will it take advantage of the full or both processers in these situations?

Thanks

Unfortunately not at this time. This is answered on our Software FAQs page.

Hi prodivx!

Thie agent here appears to be the same one you had on your other project. Go to the forums there and search for SMP. A method to use both processors is there, but it's a delicate process to make it work. You also have to be running XP Pro. No other OS has been shown to allow the running of 2 agents on 1 machine.

I'm running the software on my work computer. If I download it on my home computer, can I use the same user name, or do I need to have a different one?

Yes it is. When the agent runs for the first time there is a checkbox on top to indicate you are already a member. When you check that, you'll just need to provide your ID and password.

When you log into the World Community Grid website Member Area, you'll see both computers listed under your ID.
