 Hi all !I would like to suggest to include Beta tests minimum requirements on WCG System requirements view, once in this page we found it for all projects additionally to BOINC specifics ( http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=minimumreq ) Even if we goes to WCG Beta Testing page view we don't found the minimum system requirements associated with Beta tests ... ( https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/viewBetaProfiles.do ) So please, think about it. Thank you in advance. Best Regards.

Minimum requirements vary depending on the beta test, so it is not possible to specify them in advance.

Thank you guys. Make sense once are Beta's...
----------------------------------------Kevin, could you please informe whne are planned to have the next Beta test available to distribution ? Additionally, to increase the chance to get Beta WU's when available, there are any kind of setup to leverage it ? (machine setup or WCG MY Grid setup or any other setup than choose the check box to be Beta tester ) . Thanks a lot. Giba.

Beta test announcements will be made in this forum: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/listthreads?forum=181 This post from knreed would indicate another beta should be coming soon: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/printpost?post=156320 I'm guessing you're vying to get that last beta badge so you can be in the all-badges club with uplinger and marysduby? I just saw that some Beta are running (maybe not finished yet...) once a little bit results was returned yesterday (14).

They can be non-public beta's (WCG lab machines), they can be a beta for Linux or Mac.
----------------------------------------Remember that like AC@H, thousands have ticked the box and will have the min.sys.reqs. to run them and with a typical full beta size of 500-1000-2000 WU's depending on platform simply will come when in the right place at the right time. AND, the names of the jobs are anonymized and without graphics particularly if they are a new project. Graphics are at times removed also to eliminate a possible core science app impact and later added to see if they work together properly. so, happy hunting and nail biting.
