BOINC Agent connection

I keep getting the following error message when trying to connect:

http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/|Scheduler request failed: Failure when receiving data from the peer

All of the other settings including proxy and firewall have been checked and are correct. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello UWMD1,
My search on the BOINC site found two mentions of 'Failure when receiving data from the peer'. The most recent was http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/ticket/343 about the new proxy options in cc_config.xml (BOINC 5.10.45)

What version of BOINC are you using and what proxy options have you selected for cc_config.xml? (explained in http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/ClientMessages )

When authenticating against a proxy server use a specific authentication method. Valid parameters are: basic, digest, gss-negotiate, ntlm New in 5.10.41 (Setting of particular importance for World Community Grid to facilitate SSL/HTTPS communications)
