Well... what can I say? It's a wiki, suggest improvements! I'm already working on it. For example, I rewrote the BOINC Manager pages: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/Manager http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/ManagerSimple http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/ManagerAdvanced The official BOINC wiki encourages contributions from everybody. The bar to entry on the unofficial wiki was too much for most people. Sad, but true. I think that's what killed it. Two years ago, UCB did not have a Wiki, the bar for entry for my wiki when I ran it was that you had to ask for an account. Again, that was no harder than asking for it ... and I did post on every active project at the time notes indicating that all they had to do was ask ... it was also , I think, in the page that asked you to log in ... Whatever ... that is history ... So, what part of WCG is documented in the official BOINC Wiki? Anything? Error messages? special needs, interactions? |
