Hi there
I'm switching over to Boinc on my windows boxes and I am surprised by how many projects there are to pick from. Is there a forum post or a website with a nice summary of the various projects? I found this site https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/projects_showcase/viewResearch.do but it seems to be a subset of the projects available. I'd like to find out about them all without having to click over to each project website Thanks! |

That link has a nice, short summary of all active projects, which are a subset of all projects. The inactive projects are omitted from that page (but are available as links on the left) for obvious reasons: they are either complete or on hold, and you cannot crunch them.

Ok, thanks Lawrence and Esoteric!
I think that explains my surprise..Boinc allows us to work on projects outside of the scope of World Community Grid I appreciate the quick response So many numbers to crunch, so much CPU time :-) |

There are also "cross project" teams that sent results to multiple BOINC projects. That is a fairly new feature, so I am a member of over 60 Vulture Central teams in multiple projects. Most of my computer power is used here.
