I have multiple partitions and the one WCG is installed on has < 300MB free. My D: has > 3GB free but I like to keep programs on C: drive. How about a preference to specify directories to store data in so I'm not limited to 90MB space on C: which I don't want taken up by work units.

The simple solution is: install to the drive with most space. You can change the installation folder during setup.
If you install BOINC, there is an option for the core client to change the home directory. I haven't tested it myself, but it should work. |

If you have two hard drives, I have seen recommendations to put the Windows swap file on the other drive, assuming that there is enough space.
