Hi,
I have installed BOINC Client as service on serveral machines (including my regular workstation). Now I can't find that service in the machines services list. What is the name of the BOINC service and does anyone have an idea, why it might not be visible in the services list? Thanks, Lutz |

All the WCG sciences projects are starting with the "WCG" moniker. There is a tick box somewhere left bottom of Task Manager to see all and not only the current user, but think that works only when having admin rights.

The name of the service is "BOINC". Are you looking in the right place for the service?

The name of the service is "BOINC". Are you looking in the right place for the service? This is true only with the installer downloaded from Berkeley. The WCG provided installer for BOINC 5.10.30 installed the service as "World Community Grid - BOINC Agent" on my machine. Greetings Thorsten |
