I had a hard drive crash, and want to know how to delete it from the Device Statistics, and release any WU that it had downloaded.

Thanks! sad

Re: crashed hard drive

No way to do that, sorry.

However, once you have reinstalled there is a chance WCG will resend the work units to you.

Re: crashed hard drive

Thanks for the reply...

I just checked and the WU are still listed as pending, so I do not think it re-downloaded the same WU's. It did however download new WU's and is processing them.

Anyone know how the old ones get released so they are not pending any longer?

Re: crashed hard drive

After the due date plus any grace period assigned, any unreturned workunits will go out again. We do not have to worry about anything on the user end. Just work on what you've got.
