Hey I don't know if its just me but I've been on WCG for a little while now and subscribed to the beta testing from the get-go but I haven't received any yet. I read that there are a specific amount for each platform but none seems quite weird. Any help from anyone here?

Hello rosindubh!
First of all you should be aware that only a limited number of Beta work units is issued whenever a Beta test is announced. (For announcements see Beta test annoncement forum) If you look at the statistics pages and see the total number of Beta work units and compare that to the total number of work units of WCG or even with the number of yesterday's work units for any project, you get an impression how the chances are to get one of the Betas. Furthermore the WCG servers keep track of the reliability and response time of your machines and usually prefer those for Beta tests that return results reliably fast to get a quick result out of the test. I opted in one of my machines for Beta testing about half a year ago, and only got one (!!!) Beta work unit since then. HTH Greetings Thorsten |

You have only been a member for a few months - beta tests are rare, and I think there has only been one since you joined us.
There will be many more beta tests in the future, and I thank you for participating. |

We will have a beta test in the near future (next week or so) to test the single validation for DDDT.

 Hey Kevin, could you please be a little bit more specific about teh period when will have this next Beta test available to distribution in WCG ? I really would like to put a deep focus for this specific Beta test, and will setting all of my machines just to get Beta's WU's during this period. Hope get the chance to run some WU's very quickly to help asap the DDDT... it is one of my favourites projects once this Dengue disease covered for this project, is a serious problem in some poor areas of my country (Brazil).
