Re: AC@H workunit keeps restarting at 0% after reaching 50%

Hello GavisconQueen,
The BOINC debug flags that can be set in cc_config.xml are listed on the BOINC site at http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/ClientMessages

It took me a while to find them just now. I last looked at it 3 weeks ago and I never seem to remember the name.

Sigh. . .

Hi Lawrence! Thanks for the linkie... that one is definitely a keeper! (filing it immediately in my "idiot notes" folder (where "idiot" refers to how I usually feel when I don't know what the heck I'm doing... which is often my standard operating procedure! wink ) I'll definitely have to make time to play with some of the other available flags and see whats useful/interesting to watch.

For giggles, I both defraged and ran CHKDSK on my laptop last night, just in case any freaky disk-related issues were secretly sabotaging my ability to complete the AC@H workunit. Didn't find anything of course, but at least I know the HD is in good health. Maybe if I'm lucky enough to snag another AC@H job in the future it will work; but otherwise I'll just learn to be content to work on DDDT and HCC, which my system (at least so far) seems to like.

thanks again,
-Gavi
