I entered my name when prompted by the registration screen for my member name. Only after completing the registration did I find that this was my system ID. I would prefer to pick an anonymous name. I am unable to change my member name in my profile. How do I change my member name?

You can change your Member Name by using the following instructions: * Click on the "Member Area" button at the top and log in. * Once logged in, click on the "My Profile" link on the left nav bar. * This will present you with a form where you can change your profile settings, including your member name. Of course, the name has to be unique and not alreay in use. - Rick Alther

This is what I tried. It does not work. I get an error message that my profile is not found.

Hi!
I am also unable to change my Member Name. After click on the submit button I get the following error message: ----- Error The system could not find your member profile Your action has resulted in an error. ----- Any hint would be nice. Thanks! |

I also got the same error message when I tried to change my member name. I then changed the country, state, and city, and my member name and this time it took. Apparently you can't change just the member name.

This is what I tried. It does not work. I get an error message that my profile is not found. We had a bug in the server software which prevented a user from changing their member name the same day they registered. This has been fixed and you should now be able to change it. - Rick Alther
