I have installet WCG on my PC at home without any problems.
Now I have also made an installation at work. It runs OK, but my DVD-drive is running all the time and makes noise. When I close WCG the DVD-drive stops after short time. Because of that I realy cannot use WCG. What do I do?? |

??? Well, the only thing I can think of is that something in the BIOS activates the DVD drive along with the hard drive, when the Rosetta program writes to the checkpoint file. But that does not make sense, because any of your other programs that write to the hard drive would do the same, and you would be used to it.
Since no one else has ever reported this problem, all that I can say is that something has gone wrong on that particular computer. To make sure that it was not an installation problem: uninstall, reboot to bring the system up in a clean state, then re-install. If that does not correct it, then just shrug and uninstall. Good Luck!! Lawrence |
