messagers?

If i get aol Iam, yahoo messager, msn messager messages, or I have some already up on the screen when the screensaver comes on. Then I move my mouse to clear the screensaver, the messages automatically close. and sometimes it automatically tries to shut down my pc by acting like I clicked start shut down, it asks if u would like to log out, restart or shut down.

this does not happen when I run any other screensaver, but when I click back to the grid program only then this happens.

Re: messagers?

Justus,

What version of Windows are you running?

I've run all of those messengers on my home PC without a problem while using the WCG screen saver. Sometimes the start bar will display on the screen saver when a new message arrives, but I've never lost a message or had my computer shut down.

Can you avoid this problem by signing out of the messenger clients before the screensaver runs? Since that is probably an annoying work around... are you willing to set the screen saver to "blank screen"? This will actually allow the program to run faster since it won't be spending any CPU cycles drawing the screen saver.

Welcome 'JustUSpost', you said " like I clicked start shut down, it asks if u would like to log out, restart or shut down."
Are you the only one as USER on this PC- if so, it may be that your screen saver is set for Log-on/Enter password.
worst case would be that your computer is Hi-Jacked ! BooHooHoo/LoL crying tongue [[to fix Hi-Jacked 'Browserz- PLZ GOOGle " Hijackthis" [[I was afraid of that URL for a year! lol]]]] laughing
