Re: Team Andrax, The Great International Team!

Aloha, Co-Captains (fellow Team Mates)!

There are now 33,989 Crunching Teams at the WCG.

13 March 2018

Team Stats:

Total Run Time (Rank) 4311:151:14:28:19 (#38)
Points Generated (Rank) 5,415,239,196 (#41)
Results Returned (Rank) 13,720,723 (#39)

Daily Team Stats from last refresh:
Total Run Time --- Points Generated --- Results Returned

To see the older UD-WCG stats (RT, PG and RR), GO HERE:
https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewT...amp;numRecordsPerPage=365

This list (above) includes ALL Team Members active or inactive. You will see all Team Mates with data you have achieved with our Team. To see the full WCG data, you will have to click on your name.

You will notice that it is not easy to report on all Team Mates. THat would take anywhere from 30-45 minutes. Free DC Stats has much more team oriented stats and that is why Free-DC Stats are popular, besides showing you Boinc stats. WCG does not.

Basically, WCG UD points x 7 = your Boinc credit. WCG thought it was too difficult to grant Boinc credit which mean that many WCG crunchers have NOT be given credit yet.

Newer crunchers did not lose any points. We have a good number of Team Mated who have not received WCG points as of this time. There is actually a thread I started here several years titled "A Question For Dataman"

A question for Dataman
Dataman, I have learned that you are doing some serious studies concerning the conversion of the ancient UD points conversion to Boinc. What have you discovered?

Aloha, Co-Captains (fellow Team Mates)!

We have a couple of Co-Captains (Team Mates) on Holiday/Vacations or are getting ready for St. Patrick's Day across the globe. A great occasion for anyone who likes to celebrate good times and a chance to wear green, drink green beer and just have a nice parade/ party or both. A great day to wear the Green!

Wouln't be great if solar panels were inexpensive? I think that happen soon. I have a small auto battery tender which I need to set up soon. Got it from Amazon for under $25 US.

They supply suction cups and you place on a window (that gets some sun* and you can take it easily and put it away under that seat or glovebox when you go shopping and it includes a 12v plugin. Many cars have sensors than can weaken a car battery. This is happening to me, I guess I will find out for sure. wink

Re: Team Andrax, The Great International Team!

Aloha, Co-Captains (fellow Team Mates)!

Yesterday saw many St. Patrick's Day Events, Celebration and yes, parades! I tried to find a complete listing of the countries and if I had more time I would have done a proper search. Here is just one link that with a liat that is (quite not surprising at all: Still, it was a very popular day for manypeole across the globe:

15 Surprising Countries That Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day
Have you ever noticed that almost anywhere you go in the world, there’s an Irish pub? When St Patrick’s Day comes around, chances are you’re going to be in close proximity to somewhere celebrating with cheer and beer, even though you might not know it!
St Patricks Day is celebrated in more countries around the world than any other national day. What started out as a Christian celebration honoring Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, has turned into festivals and celebrations across the globe, so you might be surprised by who celebrates St Patrick’s Day. It’s held on the 17th of March every year and involves parades, festivals, the wearing of green colors, shamrocks, dances, music, you name it! Although it began with Irish people celebrating all over the world nowadays, even non-Irish people claim to be “Irish for a day” and take part in the celebrations!

Are you of Irish origin, Johnny Cool?
Yes, the Irish have put a their mark everywhere - pubs especially.
In Denmark, too. We have a parade on March 17 each year,

little mermaid, Irish? I really do not know; all those Ancestor websites are really only as good as documentions from records go. What I mean is, if someone from 'ancient' Eire trekked to Switzerland, this would really mess up family trees (and vicaeversa).

I have a painting of me when I was a wee lad (reying to throw you off here), me Mo(keeping the "throw" going), had an artist paint me (on canvas, not on me). I should take a picture of that. Blondish and blue eyes. Te 'blondish' turned to light brown. Now it's Green. Who knew?

Aloha, Co-Captains (fellow Team Mates)!

As for why I posted certain stats yesterday (see above), it was the University of Kaiserslautern that made me seek how they outperformed IBM. Was curious about which projects theu were crunching. Still don't know and may never know. This university has OVER 715 devices and that is even is not accurate. LOL

The big news today is what I have been waiting for. I have long suspected that Facebook was a huge trough of data which advertiser wanted. This is why advertisers have made huge mistakes on profiling and the proof of that is most of the TV/Cable/Satellite/Media commercial are really stupid. I mean the silliest commercial ever the last 4 years. This is what happens when you mostly profile a certain generation of peeps. Of well, I could just go on like all these commercials ad nauseum. Phew! laughing

So many implications to so many theories. The press and news will be so busy!! biggrin

Here is the link. Facebook and Google stuff. Google grew at an alarming rate because they bought out the competition. That never should have happened period. That and they have spent billion on gulping down companies who where doing great (mostly startups).

A ton of money went to elected officials via the lobbyist herd. The BOUGHT there way to the top. Need AI expertise? Done. Buy them

Re: Team Andrax, The Great International Team!

You're right about people moving around.
The young woman we found in an oak coffin dressed in a
neat blouse and a fashionable mini skirt
and whom believed was the Danishiest of Danish has undergone some tests,
and she turns out to come from Schwarzwald (Black Forest) in southern Germany.

I would like to see your pictures with all those colors of your hair, Johnny Cool biggrin
