Howzit! More results on the way, at long last! Only had a 3 minutes power-cut today, so all good!! CR, that sounds good! Still flumuxed over the newscasts in the Houston area (huge metro area and Harris County). I have been to many of the places shown and I cannot believe still ... ---------------------------------------- Looks like individual stats are not showing; WCG Techs are looking at this. First twoTeam Challenges are listed below. Unfortunately, rules are not being followed as per what "Small Team" really means. I think that 25-30 Active Team Mates would be a good start. Two Team Captains may not speak English and/or their native language may be not supported by WCG. WCG could easily fix these problems; yet they are busy running this very important endeavor here. Then we have another Team Challenge which is really dubious; self-serving and appears to have been started trying to be the Official Challenge Promoter here at the WCG. Not only that, it will be a bland and boring Challenge. This is meant for the largest Teams at WCG. Doh!  I would start a thread but I know that somehow it would not be good because of PC attitudes here. Just saying ... I mean, I had to edit THIS post. I have questions for fellow Team Mates: 1. Should I start a thread about the Small Team Challenge (10X better than that commerical-like 'TEAM CSF Presents" about to start in a few days. If you read their info on their home page, it looks like an ad agency. Maybe they can pro$per on all that). We all know the Small Team problem (the word SMALL that is) simply not right and maybe WCG could do something for language help for Team Captains from countries with many languages and so forth. 2. Should I just shut* the heck up about the abobe on both counts? 3. Which format should I choose for the Team Challenges? 1. Should I start a thread about the Small Team Challenge (10X better than that commerical-like 'TEAM CSF Presents" about to start in a few days. If you read their info on their home page, it looks like an ad agency. Maybe they can pro$per on all that). We all know the Small Team problem (the word SMALL that is) simply not right and maybe WCG could do something for language help for Team Captains from countries with many languages and so forth. I don't know if WCG can/will do anything. Best to probably contact the team captain of the challenge creator. https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=TNP8PGRMV1 They have a small team of 10, so I would think it would be in their interest too to restrict enrollment of large teams, if that is even possible. It may not be? 2. Should I just shut* the heck up about the abobe on both counts? What? 3. Which format should I choose for the Team Challenges? Tnx all! I like seeing the other teams listed with ranks. But I am sure it is a lot of work, it doesn't have to be every day :-)  |
